Monroe County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Rochester man for driving while intoxicating and hitting a deputy's cruiser early Friday morning. A deputy called 911 around 1:30 a.m. to report a vehicle passed him on Interstate 490 eastbound heading west.

Fate Saves Woman in Pavilion Crash (R News)
An employee at a Genesee County concrete company is lucky to be alive after a 14-wheel dump truck plowed into her office Friday morning in Pavilion. It happened as the dump truck slowed at a railroad crossing. An 18-wheeler behind it failed to stop, slamming into the rear of the truck.
