A woman from Taiwan died Thursday after being struck by a car while walking in a pedestrian crosswalk on Warren Avenue at the Lodge Freeway service drive near Wayne State University. WSU Public Safety Director Tony Holt said that the woman, believed to be in her 30s or 40s, died after being struck by a car driven by a Detroit attorney.
