DeKalb has unclaimed money (The Times-Journal)
The state gave 477 DeKalb County residents a piece of an $114,054 pie last year — and this year they have about $1 million to slice up in DeKalb. “I would love to send you a check,” said State Treasurer Kay Ivey, adding that Alabama paid out a record $23 million in unclaimed property in 2007.
